SUMMARY:UPK Town Hall for Early Childhood Programs
DESCRIPTION:Early childhood programs are invited to join us for a special El Paso County Virtual Universal Pre-K (UPK) Town Hall on Wednesday\, September 6th from 4:45–6:45 pm*\, hosted by Joint Initiatives for Youth + Families\, the Local Coordinating Organization for UPK. This Town Hall will feature a presentation by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood and breakout sessions for center-based early childhood programs\, family child care homes (FCCH)\, and school district preschools to learn and ask questions about UPK. \n\n4:45–5:30 pm | School District Breakout Session\n5:30–6:00 pm | CDEC Presentation on major updates\n6:00–6:45 pm | Center and FCCH Breakout Sessions\n\n*School Districts: Please join the Town Hall at 4:45 for the Breakout Session\, followed by the CDEC presentation at 5:30 pm. \n*Centers and Family Child Care Homes: Please join the Town Hall at 5:30 pm for the CDEC presentation\, followed by Breakout Session at 6:00 pm. \nTo help us prepare for the event\, participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance.
