Membership Process
The number of JI members will not exceed 25 so that the organization can maintain its collaborative ability.
If an opportunity for membership arises, an agency or organization must be recommended to the JI Executive Committee by a current member. The prospective new member must agree to the criteria for membership and be willing to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the JI by-laws.
Joint initiatives will also solicit new members from time to time based on board recommendations regarding an organization’s expertise and/or impact that helps JI achieve its mission.
Since JI has a limited number of membership opportunities, we also recruit other community leaders from organizations within the community to partner with us on ad-hoc JI projects or committees to accomplish our goals.
